Bill was helping to get a load of laundry going today.
Me: When you are ready to start the wash let me know and I'll get it going
Bill: Why don't you just tell me what you want and I'll get it going
Me: Ok. Add two scoops of Oxy Clean Baby (has to be baby, Reagan is allergic to the other stuff) to the pre wash section. Add Dreft to level 2 on the cap. Add the Gain fabric softner to the section, use the cap as a guide, don't use the washing machine measure. Set it at normal wash, add prewash, stain cycle, heavy soil, extra rinse. Make sure the water is at hot/cold.
Bill: Why don't I just tell you when I'm ready to start the wash and you can get it going.

You have me laughing (again!)! :)
Sounds like our house at laundry time too.
BTW- love the new look of the blog! Great job!
Stop talking about my husband... :)
See? He would flounder without you.
It's not so much the washing part that he has a problem with, it's the drying.
You are hilarious! You just need to train him now so you won't have to do anymore laundry.
Is this a game on the wii?
(Love your new look! Gotta love a makeover!)
That is too cute. After a pair of my linen pants were washed a few years ago by my hubby, I said that the laundry will always be my thing. It's better this way.
Oh wow. I'd say that I sympathize with you, but my hubby is great at doing the laundry and probably does it better than I do! LOL!
that's hysterical...i wish i could say that's my husband too, but who are we kidding? lol
Ok, I should add here that Bill does his own laundry, and does just fine. He's way better about keeping up with his laundry than I am with mine or the kids. It's just when it comes to the kids laundry that I want things just so or they are stained for life. That 28 step process I'll never expect him to remember.
LOL!!! I know that conversation. Think that I have had it more than a few times.
Bridget - Get out your D80 and take pictures of each step of the process, print them out and stick them on a poster board with cartoon balloon instructions, then post over the washer. He'll never need help again. Well, as long as you take pictures of every garment that can't go in the dryer too.
Beautiful new blog, Bridget!
And the laundry cracks me up. Of course my husband just chooses to DO the laundry... like my silk blouses. Washed and dried. He's currently forbidden from going near the washer.
Wow - I can just picture him now. I love Bill but the engineer can't figure out how to use the washing machine? Figures. :-)
Hahahahaha! Priceless!
