Sisterly Bonds

Yesterday I looked back in my rear view mirror and this is what I caught sight of in the back seat.

Reagan and Bailey weren't saying a word. They were just quietly reaching for the other sister past their own car seats and holding hands.

This photo symbolizes for me every reason why Bill and I knew we didn't want Reagan to be an only child.

After all I went through during pregnancies to get these girls here, quiet and small moments like this make it all so hugely worth it.

Seriously, could anything else bring tears to a mom's eyes faster? That is the BEST!

Hi - I read your blog as often as I can. It is great. I went to high school with LauraC. This picture is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. Thanks for posting.

I remember the first time I looked in the rear view mirror to see my girls holding hands. Now my oldest feels the need to announce this. But it is moments like that which make you realize that you are doing something right.

It's moments like these that makes the love in your heart run over. Whenever I have a crap day, the boys seem to know and do something similarly special.

awwww That totally made me tear up! My husband and I are discussing possibly TTC #2, and this captures the beauty of siblings perfectly. :)

Oh my heart! Such a precious picture and exactly what I needed to read this morning. It seems the "do we have another or not" question has been bugging me every day since our little bugger entered the terrible twos and is having multiple meltdowns a day! Thanks for this picture. It said so much more to me than you know!

Oh, I would SO love a picture of my wee ones like this. I think they did something similar once upon a time. It isn't usually so quiet back there now though ;)

Great call carrying the camera with you!
